    Happy Friday! Here’s last week’s highlights (July 31-August 6, 2023)! Monday, Rob and I had lunch with Alex at the Savahn Thai Kitchen. Always enjoy my time with that boy. I have really been struggling with sleeping some nights. Maybe products from TopShelfBc might help.     Week 29-30:2023

    Here’s a run down of happenings from July 20-30… I got these while in New Jersey at Trader Joe’s. So yummy! I picked one of these up somewhere along our trip and found it to be really good. My new favorite sparkling water for sure! This week back after vacay I really got back to cooking, but then after several nights of cooking I’m back to being burnt out with it.     4th of July 2023 Party

    4th of July this year was on a Tuesday and we all had to work on Monday, which was a total bummer. However, we made the best of it. Rob’s Mom and Step Dad threw a big shindig. Rob made Jambalaya over the fire the Drew made. Lots of homemade ice cream Caitlyn’s beautiful dessert creation just like her mom used to make.     Week 26::2023

    Last week’s highlights (June 26th-July 2nd, 2023)… It’s been a good week besides it being so dang hot. Monday Back to work. Beautiful day outside… Thursday My department had a little going away party for one of our staff members. Saturday Saturday was Lake Day with friends, so we got up and loaded the car and headed up. We made a stop for lunch at The Burritos Corner Mexican Grill. I got the Bistec a la Mexicana. Yummy! Such a beautiful day. Really hot, which made for a warm lake.     Weekend Highlights

    I got back from Texas on Wednesday, but has already put in for time off on Thursday and Friday as well. Thursday to recover and Friday to take Rob for another epidural. When I got home I was excited to see Rob had installed our new smart lock and new handle. Here’s the outside…we really need to replace the entire door.     I’m a week behind because I was in Texas the beginning of last week. So this is actually the week before last happenings… (June 12-18th, 2023) Monday Saw this in a neighbor’s yard. Tuesday Garden is really growing! Alex and his girlfriend made this lego set he had gotten for Christmas. Wednesday Eye doctor time for Alex.     Visit to Choctafaula – Auburn, AL

    Chocotafaula is an agritourism focused farm located in Auburn, AL that was founded in 2020. However, it just recently opened to the public for the wagon ride, petting zoo, and other fun! I highly recommend this for anyone that enjoys animals! Check out this post to learn more about it!
