Monthly Digest – December 2022

LIFE

Happenings So December is always a busy time, but this December was even more action packed that I would prefer.
Started off with a mammogram. Love the cute, pink shirts they have instead of the typical hospital gown. We have a new branch hospital in Auburn, which is where they have the Breast Health Center. This is where they do mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies, etc. I was very happy to get an clear letter in the mail the week after.

Rob, his brother, Nick, and I went to the Gouge Performing Arts Center to see Post Modern Jukebox (PMJ). This is the 2nd time we’ve seen them. They take popular modern music and rework them into different vintage genres, especially early 20th century forms such as swing and jazz. So good! Really talented singers and even a tap dancer. We got to see Blake Lewis during this show. I remember watching him on American Idol way back in Season 6.

Loving Alex and Madison went over to Cole’s house for cooking decorating. I love that his mom still hosts fun activities for the kids even though their graduated now.

Disappointments Trying to not let things bother me

Dreading Dreading everything…no, not really. Just super stressed

Reminiscing Just thinking about this year

Social Our Boy Scout Troop celebrated their 10th birthday in November and we actually threw a big party in December. I was in charge of the party portion (food, decorations, invites) and Rob was in charge of the program.

Bless your heart, I am sorry you are so stressed. Glad you have gotten your own blood pressure monitor. We had one, too. PC is on blood pressure meds but before he was put on them, we were monitoring his BP daily. Hope you continue to see improvement on your numbers.

Hope you can get the wedding plans situated and then take a deep breath and relax a little. You just have to take care of YOU!! Get an audio book and allow yourself a few moments each day walking and listening to it or soaking in the tub and listening. Go for a pedi. Get some ice cream. I know you are watching what you eat but make Saturday a free day!!

    Thinking of you!!

I’m sorry you’re so stressed. I hope that it has been alleviated somewhat. And have so much fun planning the wedding — hopefully you get the fun part and not the stressful parts 🙂
