    2024::Apr 1-7

    + Last week, I spent several days getting most of my seedlings planted out. I up-potted my peppers, but did not plant them outside yet. I’ll have to get someone to help me plant those out when they get bigger. + Kayleigh…just because + Alex and the kitchen crew took a picture with Auburn University’s football coach the night before the spring game (A Day) last Friday night. + Friday, I went with Rob to the baseball game vs Tennessee. I went to the game we won. So that was exciting!

    + Sunrise one morning when I got to work was spectacular. + The pollen is in full force. + Lots of food prep for after surgery. I made some Keto brownies. + On our work board, the prompt was to draw a bunny. This is mine. + Rob and Me at church on Easter + Easter lunch – this year we decided to go to Rob’s mom and stepdad’s since it was just the 5 of us. Drew and his wife were going to her grandparents and Alex had to work.

    Here’s highlights from last week… + Drew’s dog, Bigsby, spent the day at our house on Monday, because he had fertilized their yard. + Monday later afternoon was my back/neck MRI. They played music through the headphones. It was 8 songs that I laid there trying to be perfectly still. + Kayleigh girl’s favorite thing. Taking a walk. + Friday Rob went to Nashville for the Men’s Basketball SEC Tournament + He also made it over to the Auburn Baseball game that happened to be in Nashville as well vs. Vandy.     + I have over 30 Apple Watch Bands…Yeah, I’m kind of addicted. I guess I should have put that on my recent post that asked what I collected! Haha!     + Thursday, Rob and I went to the last women’s home game, so it was Senior Day. It was an exciting win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs. + The Mississippi State Bulldogs bus was outside AU hotel across the street from my building. + I cleaned out the snack drawer in the fridge and now I have room for all the strawberries we just got. + One day last week, when I was out for my walk the sky was looking scary.     Here’s a few highlights from last week! + Tuesday – Drew came over to visit me. He invited me to go to the baseball game with him. + This TENS unit has been such a big help with my back, neck, and shoulder pain lately. + Monday – Back to the orthopedic dr to get my shoulder MRI results. Not good news. I have a tear in rotator cuff and bicep tendon. So I need surgery. Trying to wait till May, so that I can hold my niece when we go Texas in April. It’s a long recovery – 6…

    + Valentines Day and Ash Wednesday on the same day! Easter is going to be early this year! Church for Ash Wednesday. + Rob and I went out for Valentine’s Day on Tuesday night. + After church on Wednesday, Rob and I went watch AU kick Bama’s tail. Aubie wore his pink suit for Valentine’s Day. + Friday night I started planting seeds (for under grow lights) until after Easter (last freeze). + Work + Lots of dr’s appointments and MRI on shoulder. + My new laptop set up at work to help my neck pain…hopefully.

    + Sunday night – dinner at Walk-Ons with Rob. I love their Jalapeno Jack burger (I get it without the bun and sub a fries for vegetable. + Wednesday night – Auburn Men’s Basketball game vs our arch rival, Alabama. Fun game and we ended up beating them quite nicely. + Hanging with one of my former students in the Samford Hall tower.     + Monday night – Women’s Basketball game – final score Auburn 67 / Georgia 49 – Fun game!     + 17 degrees a couple days last week.     Finishing up my 2023 Weekly highlight posts. Here we are for Week 51 (Dec. 18-24) and Week 52 (Dec. 25-31)!     Highlights for Week 50 11-15, 2023 Our neighbor behind us cut down some trees that were covering their backyard, but they were actually in our yard. We were ok with it. We saw Sandi Patty at the Gogue. After years of working at the university, we finally got invited to the President’s Christmas party. We had a lovely time. Such a beautiful home and event space.     Here we are for another highlight post for week Dec. 4-10 2023 Old couches New couches…They very much look the same, but they are different brands. We’re just happy to have firmer couches that aren’t so dilapidated. We got our yard smoothed out and resodded. To God be the Glory!     Another week down (Nov. 27-Dec 3, 2023) and how are we so close to the end of the year?!?!? This is not deja vu or a picture from a month ago.     Here we are for our weekly highlights for Thanksgiving Week (Nov 20-26, 2023). Basketball game with Rob. Got to see one of my student workers dance during a timeout as she is a Tiger Paw.
