I feel like when you get small appliances like an air fryer, you go through phases of using it. It gets put away and you just kind of forget about it.     + Pretty Zinnia and lady bug in the garden + Kayleigh wanted to go with me (always), so I let her go with me to pick up groceries + Summer in Auburn means Camp War Eagle, which is the freshman/parent camp where they learn about Auburn more and schedule their classes for fall + Beer from Alabama – really good + Got my hair cut.     2024::June 17-23

    + Our dining room table that was Rob’s gramma’s is always dressed. She always had the table pad and a table cloth on it. So it has hardly any imperfections on it. When we need to wash the table cloth, we pull the table pad off and let it ‘air out’ 🙂 + On Sunday lunch, my mother-in-law brought 2 of our nephews and a niece that she was babysitting. + Friday, Caitlyn and I did lunch at Hey Day Market.     + I love these Nasturiums. + Saturday late afternoon, we went over to Drew and Caitlyn’s house for an early Father’s Day dinner.     + Rob and I ate at a newish restaurant called Conquistador. So good!! + Pretty eggs from my in-laws + Alex came over and we cooked lunch together! + Our former preacher who we call BC is moving to Fort Walton Beach, so we went to a going away party for him. + Kayleigh made me laugh so hard. Rob had tossed a piece of popcorn and it went up underneath the tv stand. Here she is trying to get to it with her short little legs.

    + Car wash – I’ve gotten some terrible sap from the tree that is draping over the driveway. + BeReal from Alex and his girlfriend. + Kayleigh’s sleeping positions crack me up. + We’re finishing up a bunch of shows and 2 of my favs are over for good.     + On Tuesday nights, Opelika has Summer Swing. Each week a different band performs and the OHS band sells hot dogs and burgers. We went to see Kidd Blue and brought some chicken fingers from Foosackley’s and enjoyed an hour of music and food. + I don’t know why I keep adding my photos of pizza and salad. + My flowers in my container garden are blooming. + Samford Hall is just so beautiful.     + AHS grad party for our friends’ youngest son + Monday night, Rob was out of town for work so I went to Drew and Caitlyn’s house for dinner. Then we played Exploding Kittens + Last week in the sling!! + Kayleigh loves to play in the mud *eyeroll* + Thai food for the win! We love Savanh Kitchen in Auburn + Rob made what he called ‘redneck breakfast.’ I had promised to eat whatever he made. It was Conecuh smoked sausage and ramen noodles (without the broth).

    + Rob and I went to the Employee Recognition ceremony. This year it was at the Gogue for the 1st time. Rob got his 10 year pin. (not my photo) + This week we also had these northern lights, which I actually didn’t get to see. So this is not my photo, but I wanted to remember it. + These mini-salads are so easy and good.     + Auburn University grad party for 2 brothers who we watched grow in scouting. The party was on the rooftop of Map of Horton Hardgrave Hall. + At said party…there were so many cute Auburn desserts. The cookies were too cute to eat. + More homemade pizza on pre-made cauliflower crust + Froggy on the back deck + Katniss looking large 😉 + Kayleigh just because she’s so cute + Dinner one night, a friend of ours smokes briskets and pork loins and they are so amazing.     I’m back again…haha! I know I checked in a couple weeks ago, but between hiring season at work and physical therapy twice a week with home exercises everyday by the time I get home, I’m exhausted.     Week 2 after surgery… + Taking Kayleigh for walks most days + Lots of resting and watching TV. Rob worked from home till I went back to work on that Thursday. + Cooking is pretty impossible so I’ve been walking Rob through how I make stuff. I’m really learning how to communicate better with him through all of this. + Chicken ceasar salad from Staks.     + Last week, I spent several days getting most of my seedlings planted out. I up-potted my peppers, but did not plant them outside yet. I’ll have to get someone to help me plant those out when they get bigger. + Kayleigh…just because + Alex and the kitchen crew took a picture with Auburn University’s football coach the night before the spring game (A Day) last Friday night. + Friday, I went with Rob to the baseball game vs Tennessee. I went to the game we won. So that was exciting!

    + Sunrise one morning when I got to work was spectacular. + The pollen is in full force. + Lots of food prep for after surgery. I made some Keto brownies. + On our work board, the prompt was to draw a bunny. This is mine. + Rob and Me at church on Easter + Easter lunch – this year we decided to go to Rob’s mom and stepdad’s since it was just the 5 of us. Drew and his wife were going to her grandparents and Alex had to work.
