In honor of Valentine’s Day, I’ve noticed many of my blogger friends have been linking up with From Mrs. to Mama. I decided to do it as well.

1. How long have you and your significant other been together?
Rob and I have been together for about 16 and half years.
2. How did you meet? {What’s your “love” story?}

3. How long have you been married?
Rob and I have been married for almost 15 years, August 30th.
4. Where did you get married at? Big or small wedding?
We got married at Auburn University Chapel. We had about 80 people there.
5. Do you have any nicknames that you call one another? Do share!
He calls me Pookie, on occasion, along with Honey and Baby. Really original. I call him Honey and Baby, just the normal nicknames.
6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey.
I love how he has embraced being a single Dad in the evenings and has dinner ready for me during my dinner break every night. I love that he didn’t give up on me (long story). I love that he is dedicated to the scouting program.
7. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberries, champagne, and rose petals?
Um…..I think he’s more of a flowers & teddy bear kind of guy. We haven’t always celebrated valentine’s day, so even though we’ve been married for almost 15 years, we haven’t celebrated V-day that many.
8. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch?
I like both. I like variety in my life, so just depending on my mood and my energy level I’d be totally happy with both.
9. Tell us one thing you’d like to do with your significant one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere?
Naming just one thing is very difficult, because there are so many things I dream of doing for him. I think if I could do anything, I’d have us spend a year traveling around the world together. That would be amazing!
10. Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine’s Day.
Well, I have to work Valentine’s evening, so we’ll have to celebrate another day. Rob informed me that his company has given us a nice stipend for a Valentine’s Date, so maybe this weekend we will go out to eat some where really nice.
11. Are you asking for anything this Valentine’s day?
No, I never ask for anything for V-day. I like surprises.
12. Give us one piece of advice of keeping a relationship strong and full of love.
You have to communicate.
