So in my last weekly post, I referred to a “low” and all has been resolved with this so I can talk about it now. You know, owning a house is great until you have a major issue occur. Last year we had some drainage issues and we had a roto rooter type company come out and they ended up finding a broken line that goes out to the sewer. This last Sunday we decided to go eat brunch at the restaurant that Alex works at called Vintage 2298, which is an upscale restaurant that is open for dinner every night except Tuesdays. They also have brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Alex had been saying we should come for brunch and he works during that time, so we made reservations. I can’t believe we’re in the last week of August already! Here’s my highlights from August 21-27th. Actually not a ton to share from last week. Rob was a Walk to Emmaus serving and my mother-in-law and I both were back and forth. We went up Friday night and spent the night and served on Saturday. Just exhausting! Sunday our family lunch was pizza on Cauliflower crust. Monday night I made Fajita sheet meal I also made Keto Sausage Egg & Cheese bites. I bagged 5 in a bag to take with me each day for breakfast. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted more professional pics from the wedding and there’s still so much to share. We’re into the reception now. Grand entrances Welcome & Toasts while people finished dinner First Dances We danced to Truly Madly Deeply by Savage Garden. Then the party really got started and that band hit the stage. Hello! Another week down. Here’s the highlights from week 33 (August 12-20, 2023)! I had someone recently ask about our church search and I’ve been meaning to update yall. So we visited several churches. I think there was only one Methodist church we never went to mainly because we wanted a church that had multiple services (that offers both traditional and contemporary) options as well as Sunday school.
