    Christmas Weekend 2021

    Playing a little catch up as the last couple weeks have been busy. Here’s my post talk about our lovely Christmas weekend. Christmas Eve’s weather was beautiful. After a couple errands, Rob and I sat outside for a bit that afternoon while Christmas Eve dinner cooked. Kayleigh enjoyed it too. Christmas Eve dinner included Ham, Hash Brown Casserole, Green Beans, King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls , and salad with Romaine Lettuce, Slice apples, pecans, and raspberry vinaigrette.     Week 50-51-52 [2021]

    Playing catch up from the last three weeks of the 2021 (December 13, 2021-January 2, 2022) Rob and I went to the Men’s Basketball game. Fun game! Friday the 17th we went with Rob’s sister and her family and some of their friends to a Christmas walk in the Woods at Kreher Preserve & Nature Center Here’s my niece afterwards. Sunday the 19th, we went and saw Voctave in concert at our church. If you ever have the opportunity see them, I highly recommend it!     Back in November, Rob and I were bouncing ideas around about what to do with our 2 weeks off at Christmas. A trip to Texas or Baton Rouge to see family? A trip to the beach or the mountains?     LIFE Happenings its been a crazy month! Week 48 & 49 [2021] Loving time off work. Happy for this time of year to celebrate the birth of Jesus.     Man, I can’t believe we’ve only got a few more weeks in the year! Here’s the run down for Nov. 29-Dec. 12, 2021. Still finding tomatoes in the garden! Alex has been enjoying doing puzzles in front of the tv. We went to the tree farm and it started pouring down when we got there. We waited it out and ended up getting a tree! Our tradition is to go eat Chinese afterwards. On top of Christmas decorating, shopping, baking, and all that go with this season, we’re preparing for our cruise.

    Christmas Day 2020

    On Christmas Day, we got kind of a late start. Rob and I were up till pretty late. We did are normal preheating the oven, got dressed, and got ready. Drew and Caitlyn came over. We practically had to drag the teenager, Alex, out of the bed. We ate our traditional breakfast of Sausage Balls and Apple Dumplins, which was all amazing.
