This week’s Photo Scavenger Hunt theme is open. For this weeks theme, I found this pic that was taken at the Fort Worth Zoo back in 2000. I like the way he posed for me with his open mouth!

There was a really good song that came on the radio so I turned it up a little. 2 yo: thwots wong, mommy? (what’s wrong, mommy?) me: what? 2 yo: TB up? This week’s Photo Scavenger Hunt theme is old. I wasn’t sure if today’s theme was supposed to be an old picture or an old item in the picture. hahaha, I made an executive decision and did an old picture! This is me with ducks that we raised. They were so much fun.

Appetizer Name 3 things that you think are strange. People who think they should use a turn signal when the car in front of them is turning and they’re not. That irks me! Salad What is one lesson you have learned in the past year? I’m learning to see constructive critism as helpful and not personal. Main Course Tell us about one of your childhood memories. For those of who know me well, know that I’m a reality TV addict! So the other night, I watched Next Food Network Star. I didn’t watch the first season so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But, I’m totally hooked now! I set the DVR to record the entire season. Watching the 2nd episode, I was so shocked to see all the preparation and work that goes into 1 episode of a cooking show. I was also surprised that they tape it live with no stops. If you mess up, oh well, you gotta keep going. Not only do…

Hope everyone who celebrates the day is having the most romantic time evah! I’m sitting here figuring out what I’m going to cook for dinner feeling sorry for myself. 🙂 And for Monica, Rob and I don’t celebrate the day basically because he has always hated the day. It’s a commercialized holiday that he used to spend the evening stressing out over the plans that didn’t turn out the way he had planned. We decided that we would celebrate it the last weekend in March or the first weekend in April every year, but we never really do that either.…

Drew has a paint set with all sorts of paint, paint brushes, paint sponges, and an apron. Undoubtedly, this was a gift from a loving grandparent :-). He painted with it tonight. I helped him clean it up, but I know I will be seeing colors for weeks everywhere! My house can now be called the house of Rainbow of fruit flavors since it will be tracked from one end to the other!

Wow! What a weekend! Friday we went to the Wreck Tech Parade and Pep Rally. It was fun and I took lots of pictures. I’ve posted some below! You can go here and see lots more! After the parade we cleaned the house and I wore myself plum out! The house hadn’t had a real good cleaning in quite awhile, especially the boys rooms! EEeessshhh! Saturday morning we finished cleaning and did about 8 loads of wash! Rob’s family (Rob’s Mom, step dad, sister, brother-in-law, brother, and adopted brother and sister) got here about noon, I think. We then built…

We had a busy weekend. Saturday we went to Birmingham and went to the Birmingham Botanical & Japanese Gardens. Then, we went to the Summit to shop. We ate dinner at Carrabba’s Italian Grill, which is so awesome! We really had a good time. I’ll post pictures later. Now we’re getting ready to head to Texas Thursday. Well, I gotta go get some stuff done, so I’ll be back later.

I joined Friday Forum today. And here’s the questions for today: 1. If someone gave you $100 right now, how would you spend it and why? (No catches are involved; you can spend the money anywhere and in any way you want.) Would you make a bunch of small purchases or use the money for one big item? Uhhh…I’d probably spend it on clothes for my boys like I always do. Or I might get stuff for their bathroom that I’m in the process of collecting stuff for it so that I can redo it in a Nautical theme. 2.…

I check out the RAAM website along with my Uncle’s Team’s Blog site (Blog deleted) several times a day for updates. I just looked at it and was very sad to see that Bob Breedlove passed away during the race today. You can read about it here. This is so sad and scary. He was a solo rider. He was 53, same age as my uncle who’s in the race. They believe he collapsed and swerved into a truck head on. On a happier note, let’s continue to root on my uncle and his partner in their quest. No one…

I just listened to the Audio blog on my Uncle Guy’s Racing Blog. The race is underway and Guy started the race with a 2 and half hour leg! Then, Shanna took over for her leg of the race and then Guy will have a 5 hour leg. They’re doing tests after each leg and Guy had lost 4 lbs. during the 1st leg, which is not good. They think he wasn’t drinking enough so they hopefully have that problem remedied! You can listen for your self here (blog removed) if you’d like!! Go Team Endorphins!!!
