Still playing catch up…story of my life 🙂 + Yaki bowl, which is a Mongolian grill, finally opened and it is so good! Alex, Rob, and I went the day we got back from our cruise. + Lots of veggies harvested from the garden when we got back! + And pretty flowers + Rob and I went to visit our new nephew (bottom R) and the 2nd newest nephew (bottom L).

+ Drew & Caitlyn were in Boston, so we went over everyday to hang out with their dog, feed and walk him + My garden is doing pretty well, considering I’m not doing much with it. + Kayleigh living her best relaxed life + Trying out some new shoes that I ended up returning bc they just weren’t that comfortable, especially for the price!

Doing a little catch up in between vacations. Here’s week 28 highlights. + Dinner with our ‘adopted’ Army son, before he heads off to his next training location. + This cute little lizard hides on the walk way and often pops out and startles me. + Celebrated Rob’s birthday with some Italian. + Happy to report Katniss was located in my neighbor’s yard. Not sure what happened, but glad she’s home…hoping she doesn’t disappear again. + Love this color of tomatoes.

Yeah, I feel like posting these weekly updates, my life is pretty boring. It is what it is though, right! + Kayleigh bringing me one of very dilapidated babies. + Next 3 pics across are from the garden. This year we were able to continue to tradition of Memorial Day Weekend at the lake. Here’s a few highlights and lots of pics… Rob and I got to the lake Friday and everyone else was at Niffer’s at the Lake for dinner. + Our dining room table that was Rob’s gramma’s is always dressed. She always had the table pad and a table cloth on it. So it has hardly any imperfections on it. When we need to wash the table cloth, we pull the table pad off and let it ‘air out’ 🙂 + On Sunday lunch, my mother-in-law brought 2 of our nephews and a niece that she was babysitting. + Friday, Caitlyn and I did lunch at Hey Day Market. + Rob and I ate at a newish restaurant called Conquistador. So good!! + Pretty eggs from my in-laws + Alex came over and we cooked lunch together! + Our former preacher who we call BC is moving to Fort Walton Beach, so we went to a going away party for him. + Kayleigh made me laugh so hard. + On Tuesday nights, Opelika has Summer Swing. Each week a different band performs and the OHS band sells hot dogs and burgers. We went to see Kidd Blue and brought some chicken fingers from Foosackley’s and enjoyed an hour of music and food. + I don’t know why I keep adding my photos of pizza and salad. + My flowers in my container garden are blooming. + Samford Hall is just so beautiful. + AHS grad party for our friends’ youngest son + Monday night, Rob was out of town for work so I went to Drew and Caitlyn’s house for dinner. Then we played Exploding Kittens + Last week in the sling!! + Kayleigh loves to play in the mud *eyeroll* + Thai food for the win! We love Savanh Kitchen in Auburn + Rob made what he called ‘redneck breakfast.’ I had promised to eat whatever he made. It was Conecuh smoked sausage and ramen noodles (without the broth).

+ Rob and I went to the Employee Recognition ceremony. This year it was at the Gogue for the 1st time. Rob got his 10 year pin.
