LIFE

Happenings
Such a good month…We can just label February Wedding Month! So many nitty-gritty details. Schedules. Instructions. Since Rob and I were basically the wedding planners, making sure that all of the people helping us knew what/how things were supposed to happen were so important, but exhausting!

Here’s my weekly posts to catch you up.

Reminiscing While writing my toast for the reception and making slideshows for the weekend, I reminisced about Drew’s childhood…

Social Boozy Bouquet night and Rob and I met up with our small group the Tuesday after the wedding.

Work Memories
I had to fire someone. It was my first time to do that. I hated it. However, I think I handled it with the utmost professionalism and kindness.

Lesson Learned All the hard work and so much attention to detail is key when planning a wedding. We learned to much through this wedding planning season. I understand why wedding planners get pain so much, because man, it’s a lot! I also learned about people and human nature throughout the wedding day.

Current Project As I mentioned before, just trying to get my house back to normal. We take a lot of the stuff back to our friends next week, so that will be good. We need to figure out what to do with all the flowers.

Drew is a married man. And it dawned on my the other day, I now have a daughter (in-law). Officially. I mean, she’s been part of the family for 8.5 years. I’ve always said she’s the daughter I never had.

Rob is a rock star logistics guy.

Most remembered Wedding…hello!

Wearing It’s been pretty warm, so t-shirts and shorts after work.

This Weekend Hopefully, lots of rest, a nap, lots of cleaning and organizing.

Looking Forward to Next Month We don’t have a ton planned for March. Thank goodness! We have a wedding to attend at the end of the month. No spring break trip for us this year.

FOOD

Eating Didn’t eat great in February. I constantly tried to stick with low carb, but all the wedding festivities and leftovers made it more difficult.

Favorite The fillet mignon and Amsterdam is superb!

Favorite Pic For this I try to post a picture, I haven’t already posted and while I took lots and lots of wedding pics, I can’t choose a favorite that I haven’t posted. I do like this pic from our Boozy Bouquet night.

Thank you. Yeah, not the best day on the job, but necessary and they were very understanding.

It was such a busy month! I was my own wedding planner and it was a lot to remember and keep track of everything and so many details.
