    Rob and I DVR everything. When we got the DVR a few years ago, we never realized how it would revolutionize our TV watching. I think we’re able to watch 2-3 times the amount of TV that we used to. Skipping commercials and sometimes skipping stuff that’s boring or monotonous saves a ton of time.     The American Idol finale was awesome! Incredible performers and performances! The highlight of the show was when Casey James came out and sang Every Rose Has Its Thorn. During earlier performances, Rob and I would call out who sang the song originally. I, for some reason, was thinking it was Guns N Roses and we were like, oh well their lead singer is dead….yada yada yada. Then when Bret Michaels walked out, I absolutely lost it.     For those of who know me well, know that I’m a reality TV addict! So the other night, I watched Next Food Network Star. I didn’t watch the first season so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But, I’m totally hooked now! I set the DVR to record the entire season. Watching the 2nd episode, I was so shocked to see all the preparation and work that goes into 1 episode of a cooking show.
