My last week at the library I saw this book, flipped through it, and decided to check it out. I loved that it was short, sweet, and to the point. It outlines 63 rules about food. A lot of it is common sense, but I think for a lot of us we have lost our common sense when it comes to food. Anyone else agree with me there? Drew, who now wants to be called Lil’ Man, has for the longest time wanted a garden. Well with all the woods in our backyard it doesn’t really lend itself to that. I’ve seen how tomatoes grow really well upside down. And instead of spending $20 on the Topsy Tomato planter we decided to make our own and recycle at the same time. Well, I should be busy editing pictures of the 2 soccer teams & players I did this past week among about 2,000 pics I took at a soccer tournament last weekend. Drew has a mini-tournament in Birmingham today. It SNOWED on us on our way up there. Nice! LOL! It was in the 30’s and we froze. We played the #1 in the state and the other 2 were in the top 10 of the state. We tied against the #1 and the other 2 we lost. Drew got his first goal today and it was very exciting! Pics later:)

This is the house that we wanted to buy and the entire reason we put our house on the market. GONE…SOLD! I’ve actually known about this for a couple weeks, but had to get over the devastation before making this public. Life goes on. We’ll continue to pray that ours sells and that we find something else as good. So yesterday was Alex’s birthday. He had a great day. For me, it wasn’t as great. It actually started Tuesday when I went to put my contact in my right eye, which looked irritated. I didn’t think much of it. I just went ahead and switched to a new contact, because my other one had some jagged edges.
