The weekend before Alex turned 6 he decided he was going to learn to ride his bike. I was so proud that he and his big brother were outside working on it. In 2 days he pretty much had it down. Over spring break we went to Town Creek park. They have bike paths that go through the park. We also went over to the school, where they have a nice big parking lot so that he could ride and practice his turns.
