    LIFE Happenings Basically we’ve been party animals in May, and I’m exhausted! haha Our good family friend’s son (who is also a good friend of our son, Drew) got married. Alex graduated!     I’ve hinted around that my older son, Drew, has been doing some major ‘adulting’ lately. He bought a house! So exciting! He finally got the keys the Sunday before Memorial Day.     Here’s probably my favorite day off the Carnival Horizon. The day we were in La Romana, Dominican Republic we got there around a 11, so we had time in the morning to go to ‘sit down’ breakfast. It was nice to not have to get up super early and just be able to go a little slower that morning. Here we are waiting for clearance to get off the ship. We were all excited for an excursion day.     Last month, I wasn’t thrilled with the books I read. It’s just crazy how I can be so enamored by a cover or a 2 sentence description and then as I read I feel really disconnected with the characters and/or the story line. Admittedly I’m bad about going into a book blindly without doing too much research, because I don’t want any spoilers.
