I wanted to share a few photos from Caitlyn’s maternity shoot. We did these at The Botanic. All of these were taken with an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max because if I would have used my big SLR camera they would require us to pay $50. I think these turned out pretty darn good with just a little bit of editing.
Back in November, I planned and organized a baby shower for Caitlyn. A couple weeks ago we went out took some photos so Caitlyn could put it up on social media. At this point, I believe she was 20 weeks. Feeling baby move. They know the gender, but no one else does…yet! Bigsby always comes through for us. We do have to him breaks, but regardless he deserves treats when we’re done! I snapped this with my phone.
Yes!!! We’re going to be Grandparents!! Back in July, for Rob’s birthday our kids and their girls came over and we had fried shrimp and fries. While we were waiting for the oil to get hot, Drew seemed eager for Rob to open his gift, so he sat down and Drew handed him the bag. Friday was wedding eve!! Still so much to do, but Rob and I were ready to hit the ground running. We went over to Walmart to get labels for the water bottles for social hour. I had taken all the plastic labels off, because they are just an eye sore and I had planned to have the bottles on the tables. Thursday, Rob and I got up and put the table seating sign together. We had it designed where the tables could be updated and switched out, because you know there is always people can’t come at the last minute. However, by Thursday there wasn’t going to be time to update and reprint the table sheets. It was going to be that way even if more people couldn’t come. I’m doing a day by day recap for part of Wedding Week. So here we go… Wednesday, I only worked for a couple hours. A couple weeks ago 4 of my dear friends threw a Bridal Brunch for Caitlyn. I am so thankful for good friends. Her Matron Honor has been so good to her. She got her these “Mrs” earrings. Here she is with her Bridal Party. All the details were perfect So much good food, which was almost exclusively gluten free! Her matron of honor did an amazing jobs with the 3 games we played. We had a really good Labor Day weekend, so I thought I’d share about it. On Saturday, it was the 1st Auburn football game of the season. Rob had to get to the stadium early for work, so I rode with Drew & Caitlyn to campus. It was a fun game. In the 2nd half there was lightening, which we couldn’t see. I’ve hinted around that my older son, Drew, has been doing some major ‘adulting’ lately. He bought a house! So exciting! He finally got the keys the Sunday before Memorial Day.
