Growing up when I would go visit my Dad one of our favorite Mexican places had something on the menu called a Taco Party. They would bring out a tray full of yummy topping for tacos along with taco shells and meat.
I’ve been thinking about the super bowl game day and was trying to decide what party food to make. I decided I’m going to do the Taco Party because I can make several pounds of taco meat ahead of time and just heat it up that afternoon. Pull out all the taco toppings and let everyone make their own taco when they get hungry.
My favorite Mexican food kits are by Old El Paso.
For this Taco Party, I’ll be using their Taco Boats (pictured above) along with their hard tortillas called Stand N’ Stuff. Both of these make for easy Taco making! If you love avocados and guacamole like I do, be sure and get Avocados from Mexico.
So what should you include on your Taco Party tray?
-meat (of your choice)
-chopped or slice avocados
-pico de gallo
The list could go on and on, because really you should put anything you enjoy eating on your taco on your Taco Party tray.
