What I’m Loving
This weather right now. It’s been in the 60°-70°s many days the last week or so with a few colder mornings.
What We’ve Been Up To
We have been pretty busy. Drew is not doing AU Cappella this semester, but he is in the basketball pep band and is busy with work and school. Alex has been suffering through reading Les Miserables this semester in Advanced English. The soccer season started this week for him so that’s another couple nights that will be busy for him/us.
What I’m Dreading
Going to the dentist for an issue I’m having. I’ll tell you more about that after I go next week.
What I’m Working On
At work I’ve wanted to make a board with all 60+ of the students that I supervise with their name and their start date. I used my Fujifilm Instax Printer. When they graduate, I’ll put their end date and they will be archived somewhere. Not sure how I’m going to do that exactly yet.
What I’m Excited About
I’m excited about the time change coming up.
What I’m Watching/Reading
This month I watched Good Girls on Netflix. I really like a couple of the actors in it, so that’s what drew me to the show. It ended up being quite entertaining and I’m so ready for the next season.
What I’m Listening To
I’m currently listening to Sara Dietschy‘s podcast, That Creative Life. The one with Peter McKinnon was what got me interested in it.
What I’m Wearing
I’m usually always wearing something from Belk.
What I’m Doing This Weekend
Alex has his spring band concert so we will attending that. Auburn University baseball is home this weekend. We share 2 season tickets with some friends, but we have this weekend’s tickets. Drew has student tickets so he’ll go to all the games if he can and Rob and either Alex or I will go with him.
What I’m Looking Forward To Next Month
We have our Spring Break in March, which I am really happy to be able to get away and hopefully have a nice relaxing week. We will be doing our annual trip down to Spring Training in Florida.
What Else is New
I started a cooking club with several of my friends and we had our first gathering this month. As adults and parents, we are running here and there and we often have a hard time making time for friendships. I read an article about a cookbook club, so I decided to give it a shot. I’ll write more about the details of everything later this year, after we’ve had a few gatherings.

We love Balderdash, which calls for creativity and thinking way outside the box. Lots of fun!

Yes, time flies by so fast. I know everyone says it, but it is so true.
Your the second person who has mentioned Good Girls and Sequence – I need to check them both out. That is the sweetest baby picture – time just won’t slow down. I love the bulletin board and also your cooking club – I can’t wait to hear more about it.
