Watching & Listening – June 23

By | July 3, 2023

I think what I’ve decided to do is to alternate YouTube post and Watching & Listening post every month. So since I did a YouTube post in May , its time to do a Watching & Listening post.

You can also follow along with what I’m watching on the TV Time app.

New Shows
Season 2 of Cruel Summer (Freeform). Season 1 came out Spring 2021, but it seems like it’s been a lot longer than that. I’m only a couple episodes in and I almost turned it off during the 1st episode of Season 2, but I’m pretty sure I’m hooked now.

Cruel Summer

This show Fake Profile (Netflix)…I am a little embarrassed to say I watched. It was steamy and I actually kept feeling uncomfortable watching it, but I was so curious to find out how it resolved. Pretty good story line beyond all the s3x.

Shows That Ended
I was sad that A Million Little Things was over already. However, the way it ended was so sad, but so appropriate. Loved the ending.

NCIS: LA
I’ve been kind of tired of this show, but Rob loves it. He’s thinking there’s going to be a spin off of it.

I have Scamanda downloaded and ready to listen. I’m going to check out the other podcasts. Thanks for the recommendations.

I had started listening to a couple of podcasts during Covid’s long walks and isolation. But then I discovered audible books and have been really enjoying them. Scamanda sounds interesting though. Will check it out and share with my daughters. We started watch Law&Crime trials on YouTube but I have gotten very distressed by them. Not sure I should watch any more for awhile.

Have a tab open to check out Maya, too. It sounds good. With all these streaming services, we are still at a loss as to what to watch quite often. Always glad for suggestions.
