    It’s time for another Currently post. I’ll admit these prompts were hard for me. admiring I’ve recently been watching some YouTubers (Kara and Nate) and their interesting life during this COVID time. Nate mountain biked the Colorado Trail with his brother and a friend. My Dad was an avid cycler and mountain biker who lived in Colorado, so he’s totally been on my mind.     September is one of my favorite months. Beginning of fall, back to school (back in the day when I was a student), cooler weather (hopefully), college football (hopefully), and my birthday month! It’s time for another currently post, so here we go! I am really /appreciating/ being able to work from home most weeks. It has been really stressful, trying to get all my new student workers trained and up to speed and these last couple weeks dealing with 34% of my student work force being exposed to COVID. 25% of our staff being exposed to students who were exposed.…

    I blinked and June is over. Here’s my Currently post for July! Hope you’re having a great Summer so far. I’m cooking… several shrimp recipes that I did back in Summer 2017 that I never shared. I need to make the recipes again and write everything down so I can share them with you. I’m photographing… my garden.     It’s time for another Currently post! I’m feeling… drained, but trying my best not to let it get the best of me. I need be rejoicing in the fact that I’m still working from home and the flexibility that gives. I am excited that our new neighbors moved in this week. We haven’t met them yet, but I’m eager to meet them. I miss having neighbors that we can stand out in the yard and talk to. I hope these new people are nice like that. I’m wearing… nothing special!     Happy New Year everyone! Honestly I wanted to come into this year with a great plan for this home away from home, but I haven’t. I don’t have a plan. I’m just going to keep holding on by a thread, because the next few months at work are huge and I’m absolutely slammed. I’m not going to bore you with all those details.
