Excited to celebrate Rob’s 50th birthday next week.

Reminiscing We’ve been talking about what we’re doing for 4th of July next year since its a big one for our country. 250 years!! Its made me think about our 4th of July during Drew’s high school graduation trip in the Pacific Northwest. That day in 2016 we explored Mount St. Helen’s as well as Lava Canyon and the Ape Caves.

Also a birthday party and a wedding.

Work Memories It’s been a pretty chill summer. About to start interviewing and getting the hiring process ready for fall.

Current Project We’ve gotten some much needed yard work done and clearing a bunch of junk from our lower porch area. Still have a couple things to get rid of. Also working on the plans for our backyard.

Drew and Caitlyn are just such dreamers and planners and I just love to hear about what they want to accomplish.

Alex started his new job at another local restaurant. They love him so much and because of that he has to work doubles all weekend during their busiest days. Eeesh…at least he’s young.

Rob went on his guy’s baseball trip and had so much fun. His eyes were opened to how different it is to travel with other people. Here he is at his favorite new to him ballpark, PNC Park in Pittsburgh.

Most remembered Getting to hang out with Nova and Aubie during Rob’s conference that was held here at AU.

Wearing
I have a couple new dresses. I keep forgetting to take photos when I’m wearing them.

This Weekend is 4th of July, so we will have Friday off. Not sure what we’re doing that day. Saturday we’ll be at my in-laws party.

Looking Forward to Next Month Hoping to get everything in place to have our big backyard project started in August or maybe September. Lots to get lined up for that.

In the news
I was happy to see that Karen Reeves was found not guilty. I watched her Max docuseries right before the 2nd trial started. I totally believed she was framed.

  1. HIgh five!! I was happy for Karen Read, too. Now, my daughter says, there is a young gal who died in the company of a Boston officer and he claims it was suicide. But she was asphyxiated. Hard to do that to yourself. That whole police department needs to clean house.

We recently watched the Reds play the Pirates at PNC and I was thinking that the ballpark and the city views around it were especially pretty. Glad the hubs had a good trip. It is hard to travel with others…sometimes even with family.

Off to read you recommendations for TV shows.
