Alex texted me on Thursday to tell me he needed to get a coat and shirt to wear to Homecoming. Wait, what? This was TWO days before the homecoming dance! Nothing like waiting to the last minute. So Friday we went out shopping and I was so worried with the supply chain issues and stores not being stocked very well, that we would have a hard time finding anything that fit. But thank goodness Belk came through and we got coat, shirt, tie, and pants. Shoe Department had the shoes he wanted and all is good!
Saturday afternoon we headed out to the Arboretum for pictures. I always enjoy going and taking the pictures. Another parent had hired a photographer, which I was fine with. However, I wanted to go to make sure I got all the pics I wanted as well.
After over an hour of pictures, the kids were getting hungry and I had taken 100+ pictures and the hired photographer had taken quite a few as well, so we headed over for dinner at Amy‘s house.
All photos are mine except the one noted. You can see more pics here.
Great pictures. I love that they had dinner at a parent’s home. We had a last minute homecoming too, which I’ll blog about soon. Through some miscommunication I found out the night before I left for Atlanta to visit Grace that Jack was having friends over after the dance. It added a very fast trip to the grocery store for party supplies to my already hectic evening!
Glad you were able to find the clothes so quickly! The photos turned out well!
