I got back from Texas on Wednesday, but has already put in for time off on Thursday and Friday as well. Thursday to recover and Friday to take Rob for another epidural.
When I got home I was excited to see Rob had installed our new smart lock and new handle. Here’s the outside…we really need to replace the entire door. I have never been a fan of the red, but I guess haven’t cared that much since I’ve never painted it.
And the inside
Friday morning, I took Rob to the pain center for another neck epidural. Then, we stopped at
Brick & Spoon for breakfast. I got the breakfast tacos.
That afternoon we ran out for some errands and ended up at El Patron for an early dinner. I treated myself to a margarita.
The fajitas for 2 were amazing.
Saturday morning, Rob made breakfast. I guess I should have called this the weekend food highlight post!
Caitlyn and Drew stopped by and then later that evening they ended up inviting us over for dinner.
Drew grilled out drumsticks, which were the best grilled chicken I’ve ever had.
Bigsby has a bed in Drew’s office where he sneaks off to when he gets tried (of people).
Sunday Rob and I visited our 3rd Methodist church, Opelika Methodist. Beautiful ceiling stain glass.
Busy but good weekend!
We have those smart locks and I just love them! (though we did have the battery die and get locked out Christmas eve so we had to go around the house and go in through our garage).
