Top Adventure Destinations In America For The Whole Family

By | August 30, 2021

You know that we’re all about finding ways to enhance your family time and build bonding experiences while creating memories that last.  After all, that’s what this thing called “life” is all about.  I know we’re all anxious to get back to booking a resort or an Oceanfront Bed And Breakfast and we’re daydreaming of all the trips you can do with your family, you’ve come to the right place because I’m daydreaming too!  We’re going to unpack some of the top American adventure destinations that the whole family will love.

Now before we get started we (obviously) have to mention that before you make any confirmed travel plans always remember to check the most current Covid-19 regulations which may be in place at your destination. A Covid test may be required before entering a tourist destination. This is specially true if you’re going to be traveling out of state to get there.  Airlines update their Covid regulations regularly and if you’re driving, check with the authorities in your state and every state that you may have to travel through to get to where you’re going.  Now with that being said….

Magic Kingdom

Always taking the top spot in theme parks, Magic Kingdom Park has been thrilling families for years. In spite of this last year and half, they’re not showing signs of stopping any time soon.  They have safety precautions all over the park and you’ll be invited to sanitize regularly (never a bad thing) and we would really encourage you to work with the staff in the park – it can be a little annoying being “herded” around from time to time but they are, after all – just doing their job.  The park is still loaded with awesome rides and experiences that the whole family will love.  Disney characters walking about as well as the iconic Cinderella’s castle taking center stage always makes for amazing photos.

Ships

Cruising

Still one of the best value for money experiences, cruising presents a fabulous vacation for the adventure-minded family.  If you’re still thinking that cruising is all about a symphony of beige interiors and the “silver-surfer” brigade, you really need to visit your travel agent.  The cruise ships of today feature indoor zip-lining, wave pools, ice rinks, and nightclubs that will have you and your (over 21-year-old) brood dancing until the early hours. If your family is still young, there are cruises with kids clubs that will keep your tiny humans thrilled and entertained with Discovery at Sea experiences (with Princess cruises) or Broadway-themed production shows on Royal Caribbean.  With new Covid-19 regulations, cruising is promising to be a very safe option for vacations.

Yosemite National Park

America is blessed with some of the most amazing and awe-inspiring natural beauty anywhere on the planet and that also means that we have some of the best national parks too.  This may not surprise you that much, but consistently voted as the best national park for families with kids is Yosemite National Park.  The park neatly fits the “something for everyone” tagline and you could spend days on days in the park without having to cross the same trail twice.  There are overnight lodging options, but if you want to get the most authentic experience out of Yosemite, you have to camp and if you’re going to be camping, you’ll need some top quality gear like the range here, at EcoGearFX.  The park has stringent Covid-19 regulations so everyone is kept nice and safe. And if you’re near Utah, you may consider visiting Zion National Park and staying at zion national park hotels.

The Florida Keys

For decades a top American destination and with perfect year round weather and pristine ocean fronts, it’s easy to see why. Snorkeling, jet-skiing, and all the other awesome water sports that are so gorgeously suited to this area make the Florida Keys a fabulous family friendly vacation.  Throw in awesome locals and great places to stay like Hawks Cay Resort and you’ll be back next year.

How ever you choose to spend your family time, plan the trip with everyone’s input.  This will start ramping up the excitement stakes long before you even hit the road or grab a flight.
