I didn’t write a weekly post last week so I’m combining 2 weeks worth here.
PICS & GOINGS ON
Dec. 13th
On Sunday, the 13th we attended our Boy Scout Court of Honor. You can read more about that >>>> December Court of Honor
Dec. 18th
Friday was our last day of work and school. I sent out a big box of goodies to my sis, mom, brother, and cousins.
After that I went and got some wine and chocolate for a few of my friends and made special surprise deliveries to them. I came home and made a 4 boxes of Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Crackers. I drank some wine too.
Dec. 20th
I made some gingerbread cookies and we started re-watching 24.
Dec. 23rd
I made some Banana Nut Muffins.
And decorated the gingerbread cookies. I remembered why I don’t make these cookies. Mainly because I have no patience for decorating cookies. It was also painful to squeeze the icing out, so I just made the hole bigger and smeared icing on some of the cookies instead.
Our church had a registration only, live nativity scene. One of our friends was signed up to be a wise man, but his son got COVID, so Rob stood in his role as the Wise Man with the camel.
Christmas Eve Eve service. Since our services at church on a registration first sign up first serve basis the actual Christmas Eve service filled up fast. Luckily we were able to register for the service on the 23rd. Here’s our family at church for the first time since March!
Dec. 24th
Thursday the 24th I was busy preparing the meal for that evening as well as the Apple Dumplins for Christmas morning.
Dec. 25th
Christmas Day was wonderful. >>> Christmas Day 2020
THOUGHTS
