Our 2nd of Summer Days…Today we started the morning by going to Town Creek Park and walked. We took some pictures along the way. Here’s the boys while resting on a bench. After that we went home and made homemade Strawberry-Lemonade Icies. Here’s a picture of Alex showing off the fact he gets to drink out of a big boy cup! See Momma say bye-bye to quiet nap times, See Momma say bye-bye to full night sleep, See Momma lose her sanity! Yes, yes, yes, Alex crawled out of the crib a few weeks ago during nap time. Today is the first day of summer for the boys and me. It’s gone pretty well. We ran some errands this morning and then watched Cool Runnings together. What an inspiring movie! The boys enjoyed each other, for the most part. Here’s Alex watching on as Drew plays on his game boy.

I haven’t done an actual post in….not sure how long! I’ve been busy with finishing up school. I had a lot more to do at work before summer than normal due to the fact that the entire school will be painted and recarpeted this summer. So we had to box everything up and take everything off the walls. Last Sunday, Mother’s Day, was really nice. We went to Columbus, GA to shop. There was a really good song that came on the radio so I turned it up a little. 2 yo: thwots wong, mommy? (what’s wrong, mommy?) me: what? 2 yo: TB up? (TV up?) me: Nooo, that’s the ray-dee-o 2 yo: Way-D-O, Mommy? me: yeah, radio 2 yo: I’m sansin’, Mommy (I’m dancin’, Mommy) I look in the rear view mirror and he was dancing and laughing.
