Exhausting day! I’ll let you in on the details tomorrow. Here’s a couple collages of pics from Alex’s photo shoot Saturday. These will be his THREE year pics.

This is the day he went home. Believe it or not, this outfit was for newborns, but it swallowed him up! Where has the time gone? I can’t believe three years have passed already. In so many ways though, his birth and the whole labor and delivery process seems like a dream, like it never happened. I think back to that day and it’s hard to fathom that I went through that agonizing pain. It’s crazy how time tends to dampen the feelings you go through the day a child is born. When you’re in the moment, everything is vivid…

Well, I was trying to think what came after the wedding and well it was pretty much a baby! I found out I was pregnant at 5 months!! I was on the bc pill and just had no idea until I started feeling movement and my tummy was getting big and hard. Yes, it was quite scary. Twenty-two, newly married, in college, and pregnant! It definitely could have been worse. I do realize that, but calling the family to let them know that we were expecting was pretty nerve-racking. Everyone approved and it’s not like anything was going to change,…

Appetizer Name 3 things that you think are strange. People who think they should use a turn signal when the car in front of them is turning and they’re not. That irks me! People who go on Fear Factor. Parents who don’t take an active roll in their childrens’ lives. Soup What was the last ceremony you attended? My husband’s grandfather’s funeral. Salad What is one lesson you have learned in the past year? I’m learning to see constructive critism as helpful and not personal. Main Course Tell us about one of your childhood memories. I remember riding my bike…

For those of who know me well, know that I’m a reality TV addict! So the other night, I watched Next Food Network Star. I didn’t watch the first season so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But, I’m totally hooked now! I set the DVR to record the entire season. Watching the 2nd episode, I was so shocked to see all the preparation and work that goes into 1 episode of a cooking show. I was also surprised that they tape it live with no stops. If you mess up, oh well, you gotta keep going. Not only do…

Ok, why is it that work weeks creep by, but spring break flies by in the blink of an eye? It’s Wednesday already! Yes, I’m sorry for those of you who work year round and I know I’m lucky to have off when I do. I just can’t help it. I’m dreading going back to work, because for 2 straight weeks the kids will be taking the SAT10 and the ARMT. Yuck! Normally when I have a day off here or there I spend it cleaning, washing, you know all that fun stuff called house work? So I told myself…

Here’s Alex after having his first real haircut at the Barber Shop. He watched his Daddy and big brother get a haircut. When it was his turn, he sat up there. He didn’t utter a sound. He sat still. He was perfect! Drew threw a royal fit the first time he went there. I think having a big brother to watch first helped him know everything was going to be ok.

It’s crazy that my baby is turning 2 on Tuesday! I just can’t believe it. Where HAS the time gone? It seems like just yesterday when he was born. We’re celebrating his birthday next weekend, because Rob’s mom and step dad were out of town this weekend. Tuesday, Drew has his Den meeting, where he’ll get his Bobcat. So we’ll be busy with that on the *big* day!
