Last night was AWESOME! I’ve never enjoyed a concert as much as this one. Foreigner was great as usual and did an abbreviated show that we saw back in June. Styx was ok. Nothing too spectacular there and it was quite upsetting to Drew that they didn’t play Mr. Roboto. Def Leppard rocked the house! They were just amazing. Gosh, I think it’s been forevah since I’ve written! I’ve been drowning in work. I’m quickly getting burnt out, so I’m trying to get ahead and stay ahead so that I won’t feel so overloaded. Today was only the 3rd day of school, which is scary. It seems every year I become burned out quicker and quicker. I just keep thinking, I need to find something else to do. Sorry I’ve been so MIA lately. I feel like I haven’t blogged in ages. Last week I started working on cataloging every single book in my classroom library. Not only that, but I’m adding 350+ books that I’ve kept at home. I’m doing it for a couple of reasons. One of which is to free up shelf space at home and I think with the organizing and leveling my library, I’ll hopefully still be able to locate these books when I need them to use for my lessons. Keep the prayers coming. I’ve got an another interview tomorrow at 11 cst. My interview last week didn’t go that great. Basically, my nerves took over and I just couldn’t stay focused. Tomorrow is a screening interview with my 1st choice in school systems, so it’s a MUST that I do great.

Finally! We bought a house this week. Well, we signed a contract and came to terms with the sellers. We’re set to have our closing May 15th, back to back with the sell of our house. We’re moving in the weekend before that if all goes as planned. We’re in a mad rush packing, cleaning, scheduling this and that. Home inspection is Monday. Pray that all goes well with that. Monday, March 26 – (1st day of spring break) Looked at homes for the first time. 4 homes – 2 of which we scratched off the list. 2 of which we kept on our list. This is the house that we wanted to buy and the entire reason we put our house on the market. GONE…SOLD! I’ve actually known about this for a couple weeks, but had to get over the devastation before making this public. Life goes on. We’ll continue to pray that ours sells and that we find something else as good.
