School finally started today! It was supposed to start 2 weeks ago, but just before school was out our state legislature decided to mandate schools to start later this year. For years they’ve been talking about forcing schools to start after Aug. 20th, because “it’s hurting our beach tourism.” Anyway, we were all happy for school to be back in session. Well, I was trying to think what came after the wedding and well it was pretty much a baby! I found out I was pregnant at 5 months!! I was on the bc pill and just had no idea until I started feeling movement and my tummy was getting big and hard. Yes, it was quite scary. Twenty-two, newly married, in college, and pregnant! It definitely could have been worse. I do realize that, but calling the family to let them know that we were expecting was pretty nerve-racking. Ok, so Drew or Rob usually feed the dog. We have a big Rubbermaid container at the bottom of the pantry where we keep her food. We keep a plastic cup in there to pour the food into the bowl with. So tonight I’m just sitting here and I hear the clanging of dog food in the metal bowl. I look to my left and see Rob and Drew sitting on the couch.
