Here’s another creation that I finished the other day. I took some old jeans from the kids and cut them straight across a couple inches from the crotch (couldn’t think of another word, sorry). Turned the jeans inside out and sewed the bottom together. Then, I took the red/white gingham clothe and cut it to fit inside the jeans. Those two piece were put insides facing each other and sewed them together. Since I had these handles from another purse that I have, I measured to see where the handle loops need to go. I am SO pumped for the Jovi/Daughtry concert tomorrow night! Listening, reading some blogs, and getting even more excited. I’m wondering if it can top Def Leppard, which was THE best concert I’ve evah seen! We will see. I’ve put the set list for a recent concert under more, so Rob if you’re reading this before the concert and don’t wanna know don’t click down there 😉 Oh and a couple of the links above have the set list, so watch out!

So this year Rob and I decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Valentine’s Day. We usually celebrate later on in the year. He went all out this year, from the concert, to the 3 bouquets of flowers, and candy. It was great. And yah, I know that was like months ago. Give me a break. I’m just trying to update you on all the things that have been going on since I’ve been MIA!

For Valentine’s Day, Rob took me to see Van Halen the Sunday before Valentine’s Day. It was a surprise and I thought it was so sweet of him to think of that. We celebrated Alex’s birthday the weekend after his birthday with some of Rob’s family. We went to one of his and our favorite restaurants, Durango (Mexican). Here he is blowing out his candles. For his 4th birthday, he got lots of Auburn stuff as you can see when if you click on the pic above. He also finally got a bookshelf for his room.

Finally! We bought a house this week. Well, we signed a contract and came to terms with the sellers. We’re set to have our closing May 15th, back to back with the sell of our house. We’re moving in the weekend before that if all goes as planned. We’re in a mad rush packing, cleaning, scheduling this and that. Home inspection is Monday. Pray that all goes well with that. Thanks for all the prayers. Keep them coming! Still a few hurdles to get through in the next 2 weeks! Wow! Only 2 more weeks in this house…

I guess I’ve been pretty quiet here lately. You should be thanking me though, because if I was writing here every day you wouldn’t want to come back. I’m just not real happy right now. I’m upset, because we’ve had 3 houses that we would live in and all 3…poof…gone! We’re running out of time, so we’re having to concentrate on renting. Monday, March 26 – (1st day of spring break) Looked at homes for the first time. 4 homes – 2 of which we scratched off the list. 2 of which we kept on our list. During lunch at Applebee’s we got a call from Laura and found out we were getting an offer by the end of the day. 4:45 Laura came by and we reviewed the contract.
