This past weekend we went with the cub scouts on a family trip to the McWane Center in Birmingham, Al. Such a fun place! Nearly all hands-on, very informational, just loved the place! If you ever travel to Birmingham, I recommend it. Anyway, so our family decided to get their early, so we’d have plenty of time to see all 4 floors. We were able to get through all the floors in about 5 hours and that was really allowing the boys time to stay at some of the exhibits for awhile, not just skimming over everything. We met as…

This week was been a whirlwind! One of our nieces, ‘Toady,’ stayed with us this week. Her parents (Rob’s sister and her hubby) are preparing to make a big move across country, so we agreed to keep Toady, who’s the oldest of three children. Every morning we would get up and I drove her about 45 miles to her Pre-K class. I hung out at their apartment for the 3 hours that she was there and then I’d pick her up and we drove back to Auburn.
