For those that know me well know that my love for dancing is profound. I started dancing when I was 3 years old. I danced up through high school on the dance/kick squad. So watching the dancers come out and dance their hearts out evoked such a great emotion. The first dance struck such deep emotions that tears trickled from my eyes. With each tear that dropped, the emotion I felt in the pit of my stomach grew stronger and stronger. Thoughts of high school dancing days ran through my head as I watched. Friday night after dropping the kids off at the in-laws’, Rob took me to the very charming Dante’s Down the Hatch. They are a fondue restaurant that has a setting created to look like a ship tied to a wharf. You pay more to be on the ship, because that’s where you hear and see the live jazz. Rob had reservations to be on the ship, which was really nice and romantic. We had a one sided booth that looked over the ship. The inside of the restuarant is just amazing. Rob left this morning 5 am to go to Atlanta for business. So I got up after he left and got some stuff done around the house. I had to get to work later than normal because I had to get Drew on the bus and then take Alex to daycare. I got my hair cut today. You know I can’t find anyone in these twin cities that I want to keep going to. I’ve had my hair butchered too many times. Drew has a paint set with all sorts of paint, paint brushes, paint sponges, and an apron. Undoubtedly, this was a gift from a loving grandparent :-). He painted with it tonight. I helped him clean it up, but I know I will be seeing colors for weeks everywhere! My house can now be called the house of Rainbow of fruit flavors since it will be tracked from one end to the other!

Drew was looking at our mice and said wow look at that guy! He’s fat! I said, yah! I hope he’s not pregnant! Drew said, well if he’s pregnant we’ve gotta tell some body cause I didn’t think THAT was supposed to happen! The conversation went on, but I was laughing so hard in my head, I had to come type it!

Alex is growing a vocabulary slowly but surely! He says “uh-oh!” and it is so cute. Also when I change his diaper I always say “Eyew, stinky” and I wave my hand in front of my face. So now he says, ” Oooooo, tinkty” and waves his hand. It is so funny! I need a video of it! He’s also gotten real good at copying what you say when you don’t even think he’s going to, which could be scary! haha

I’ve been asked by people who don’t blog, don’t read blogs, etc…Why do I blog? Well, I started out bloggin’ to keep track of things going on in my life, kind of like a journal. Than, I just got where I write about things bothering me or crazy things I see or hear. I like to plug good links and good blogs. I use it now kind of for a free for all! I also love reading blogs! Alright, I’m going to try and get caught up with my cruise stories. The first one consists of me, Drew, and Alex(the 3 of us) in the back seat of the Explorer. I was back there with them since Nick, Rob’s brother, was going with us. Both on the way to Tampa AND on the way back, my kids and I had some serious “bonding” time. If you’d like to call it that! 6-7 hours sitting hip to hip and hip to car seat is tedious, mind boggling, and priceless. Drew got all his make up work done, which was…

I forgot to tell ya yesterday that yesterday morning when I got up and went into the bathroom, I was holding my breath. Knowing that a mouse might be on one of the sticky traps, I was scared. I turned the light on and my heart sunk when I saw the poor little mouse on the trap. I thought to myself, “well, we gotcha!” I stood there for awhile looking at it. She was starting to move. ICK!
