Mini Churros

By | April 27, 2018

Recently when I made some homemade dough in the bread machine, I had some dough left over. I didn’t want to waste it so Drew and I decided to try our hand at making some Mini Churros. They turned out great, so I’m afraid every time I make homemade dough we’re going to find a way to have some left over dough! If you don’t have any homemade dough, this would work great with refrigerated croissants or biscuits as well. These are definitely going on my menu for Cinco De Mayo!

Mini Churros

1/4 cup granulated white sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
refrigerated croissants or biscuits or homemade dough

1. Heat oil in a large pan to medium high heat.
2. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
3. Roll out dough and cut into strips.
4. When the oil is hot, carefully put several strips of dough in. Make sure they’re not to crowd the pan.

So glad to have this great idea. Made homemade bread last week and threw away a little bit of leftover dough…not enough for another loaf. Would have been perfect for these mini churros. Pinned for next time.
