Memories of the Month {3.2014}

By | March 31, 2014

This month I was happy about: starting my new daytime hours.

This month I was sad about: just still really missing me Dad.

Something I accomplished this month was: getting used to working like normal people.

Status on being “healthy”: tried to get back to it…Did it for about a day and half and then fell again.

Something new I did was: attend training for Walk to Emmaus.

This year I’m going to rate the books & movies. Here’s my rating system:
♥ ♥ = Love it! A must read/see!
♥ = Really good! Highly recommend.
✓ ✓ = Good, not great
✓ = Not much to talk about
X = Awful. Total waste of time

Books I read were:
Made to Crave by Lysa TerKeurst (haven’t finished yet)
One Gorilla: A Counting Book Anthony Browne
FArTHER by Grahame Baker-Smith

Movies I watched were:
Don’t think I watched any.

TV Shows I watched were:
Nashville (Hulu Plus: season 1 and first part of 2)
Dallas
Hart of Dixie (Season 3)
Survivor
Amazing Race
Revolution
Criminal Minds
CSI
NCIS
Hawaii 50
Bones
Other random shows…

My favorite song this month was: pretty much anything country. Definitely in a country mood lately.

What I remember about work was: switching job descriptions and going to day shift!

A lesson I learned this month was: don’t be afraid to change things up.

A friend and I: ate to discuss the Walk to Emmaus that she’s going on soon.

My favorite pic (not previously posted) that I took was:

Horseshoe Bend National Military Park

This pic has not been edited in any way. I thought it was pretty interesting how the iPhone made it kind of look cartoonish.

I cooked: see my weekly menus.

The boys were: home alone during the day for spring break, since I started my working days. They didn’t kill each other. Hallelujah!

My husband was: supportive for me in many ways this month.

The thing I’ll remember most from this month was: getting to work in the daytime.
