Here’s some memories, dreams, and reflections from 2024.

2. I Love You Just a quick meal out for some ramen with my love
3. Still Laughing… I was lost on this prompt, but I do love this photo of us laughing at Christmas. I think we were laughing because when he picked her up she laid back in such a funny way.
4. Winter Wonderland
Yeah, kind of an odd choice maybe for Winter Wonderland, but we don’t get winter that you can ‘see’ here.
5. Birthday This was Rob’s birthday present.
6. Friends The Annual Memorial Day camp out was back on this year and it was glorious.
7. I Was Inspired…
If you’re ever in the Auburn, AL area, go to the Botanic! It will inspire you. Love the maternity shots we got there just before Christmas.
>8. Spring Fever Spring this year I was busy prepping for surgery, then recovering from surgery, but before all that I managed to get around campus for some tulip photos. (more pics)
9. Travel or Vacation
This year, we tried to scale back the travels a bit from last year…We still take advantage of when Rob has a work trip. I think last year and maybe the year before I did a separate post to list all my travels, but I’m so behind on posts right now that I decided not to do that. Here’s a quick run down…
April – Trip to Texas for Rob’s work and a family visit – Part 1 & Part 2
July – Trip for Rob’s work at Stanford University – I’m still writing these posts, but here’s the ones I’ve posted so far:

October – Little Atlanta Getaway
November – Thanksgiving Trip to see Rob’s Dad – This was a special trip for a couple reasons: Rob’s dad has never had his 3 kids at his house for any holidays. It was also special because Rob’s Dad and Step Mom plan to move ot Auburn this year.
December – New Year’s Cruise with our Niece and her friend – Post(s) coming soon!
10. Summer Days My summer days aren’t that exciting with our kids out of the house. My little container garden was fun though. Excited to think that this will be the last year with this rickety back deck!
11. A Day In My Life
Just a day at work…that’s my life. I was going stir crazy from Zoom interviews.
12. All Smiles
13. Autumn Harvest This display at Publix and their display was cute.
14. Family So glad to get back to Texas to spend time with my Mom and Sister and Brother and niece, but especially my brother who I haven’t seen in years and years.
15. Celebrate! Rob got to go to the Men’s Basketball SEC Tournament and it was exciting to see Auburn win the whole thing.
16. Let’s Do It Again…
Cruising with my sis and fam was the best!
17. I Miss(ed) You
I had to include this… Katniss went missing this summer for several days and I’m so glad she is back.
18. Beautiful My niece, Lu and me just hanging out. She’s so beautiful.
19. Dress Up
I threw a baby shower for my daughter-in-law in November and we were dressed up of course. I still need to write a post about this and share some photos.
20. Macro My mums this year from Trader Joe’s were gorgeous!

Not sure why we didn’t get a photo with Caitlyn (and Ella) in it.

I took Caitlyn’s maternity photos right before Christmas.

24. Just Because…
This year was pretty good, considering…that both Rob and I had surgery this year.
25. Hopes and Dreams Caitlyn and Drew’s prayers were answered this year when they became pregnant. I have so many hopes and dreams for this little girl that is set to enter the world early February.

Sweetest image of your angel baby. You are going to love holding your grandchild for the first time. Just an amazing season of life. And the maternity photos/shower photos are lovely.
Didn’t realize both of you kids had surgery this year. Yikes!! But so glad you were able to enjoy so much family time, travel and memory making, too.

I loved reading about your year. Two surgeries…yikes! The maternity photos are gorgeous. We went to Botanic on our last trip. I can’t wait for you to be a grandmother!
