iSpy {2021 Photo Challenge} #1

By | January 9, 2021

Today starts off our iSpy 2021 Photo Challenge #1! Did you decide to join along? If so, how did do this week? I can’t wait to go check out your iSpy captures.

I struggled a bit with a couple of them, but with this being such a busy week I’m pretty happy with what I came up with.

iSpy Photo Challenge 2021

– Hello 2021!
For this one, I had thought I would take a picture of a new calendar or something. I actually am still waiting for my new Aubie Calendar, so that was a no go. So I thought came up with this instead.

– old
On Christmas day, Rob and his brother were looking for our hymnal to Christmas carols out of. They came across this hymnal that my Granny gave me. Actually, my Aunt gave me this after my Granny passed away several years ago. I had never pulled the decoration on the outside. Leave it to man to take the pretty stuff off, but I am so glad he did.

– goals
So here’s my Goals sheet for this year…Yeah, I haven’t been too successful at coming up with my goals yet. It will probably be next week at least before I can devote time to this. If you would like to use these goals sheets they’re here>>>>2021 New Year’s Goals Printable

– green
I actually took several pics for this one. I have a pretty new house plant, but I wasn’t thrilled about the picture for. So I went out to the garden and found this…it’s labeled as Kale, but I’m thinking it’s some type of cabbage. I need to look at my seed packets for the true answer. Anyone know?

– happy
Katniss finds her way to Rob’s office chair anytime Rob is not in it. It’s her happy place for sure!

I really like your capture for green, although I can’t help you out with what kind of plant it is. I also like your photo for 2021 — way to get creative!

I was pretty excited about the green photo too. Winter gardens are easier to deal with so I haven’t really been out there much. I was excited to find this little cabbage…or whatever it is. 🙂

Thank you! It is pretty special to have something old these days. And do what you can as far as photos! I know people are busy and may struggle with some prompts, but don’t let that stop you from shooting.

I was planning on some sort of calendar shot for the first prompt too as we had 3 new ones arrive this week but the boys whisked theirs away to their rooms before I ever had a chance! I really enjoyed these prompts though.

That is funny that your boys were so eager for new calendars. There is something about a fresh clean new calendar every year.

Will get my post up today or tomorrow. This has been a busy blogging week.
Everyone has taken such lovely photos. My favorites of yours are the 2021 – the colors, the glittery shininess is so hopeful. And the green. Not sure what that plant is but sure is cute!! I like the shades of green – the BEST color in the WORLD. And the dew or moisture on the leaves. Just beautiful.
