I forgot to tell ya yesterday that yesterday morning when I got up and went into the bathroom, I was holding my breath. Knowing that a mouse might be on one of the sticky traps, I was scared. Yesterday Rob got home and asked me if I got his email. I said no. He said well I have a surprise for you. I asked “a good one or a bad one?” He said bad! So we go into the bedroom and he said open up the bottom drawer of the armoir. He said “open it up and and jump back”. So I did. Wow! What a weekend! Friday we went to the Wreck Tech Parade and Pep Rally. It was fun and I took lots of pictures. I’ve posted some below! You can go here and see lots more! After the parade we cleaned the house and I wore myself plum out! The house hadn’t had a real good cleaning in quite awhile, especially the boys rooms! EEeessshhh! I love to travel, just love it. But what I don’t love is getting ready to travel. Cleaning the house, packing, cleaning out the car, making sure we have everything, going to the store, paying bills, and the list goes on and on. I check out the RAAM website along with my Uncle’s Team’s Blog site (Blog deleted) several times a day for updates. I just looked at it and was very sad to see that Bob Breedlove passed away during the race today. You can read about it here. This is so sad and scary. He was a solo rider. Drew went bug catching today. We keep getting these little black millipede/caterpillar like bugs in the house, but they die real fast. I guess because of the cool climate inside. This summer is flying by like it always does! I’ve been juggling time with my kids with trying to get stuff done for work! I just love people who say that teachers get off 3 months for summer and yada-yada-yada! I know that I only get 9 weeks off and 1 to 2 of those weeks, I’m usually in workshops all day! The rest of the summer I’m busy trying to make games, write lesson plans, look for activities, make study sheets, learn new curriculums, etc. etc!!!! So I digress. Wow! Just listened to another report from the Team Endorphins Blog (blog removed). My Uncle and his partner Shanna are fighting 106 degree weather in the Mojave Desert! The crew also had to deal with swarms of bees! Uh-oh! Dad! 🙂 (My dad’s on the crew!) Anyway listening to these is so inspiring! They started in San Diego, CA and are now in on their way to Williams, AZ, which is their next time station!

I just listened to the Audio blog on my Uncle Guy’s Racing Blog. The race is underway and Guy started the race with a 2 and half hour leg! Then, Shanna took over for her leg of the race and then Guy will have a 5 hour leg. They’re doing tests after each leg and Guy had lost 4 lbs. during the 1st leg, which is not good.
