I dished it up and noticed the espresso sauce along with the little bites of ladyfinger cookie, and ribbons of cocoa. Yum! Now I will have to say as I was eating it, I’m thinking to myself, “Lysha, what are the differences between ice cream and gelato?” So of course, I went to google to find out. First thing to know, Gelato is the Italian word for ice cream. I found that Serious Eats does a lovely job of explaining it. But even after reading all that I didn’t really taste much of a difference.
For those of you who know me, know I love me some ice cream! And this Gelato ranks way on up there. I found it to be creamy, not too rich, just enough each flavor. Yummy! A bit pricey for my taste, but a nice treat. When the prices go down, I hope to try the other flavors.
I received this product complimentary from Influenster. However, these are my true thoughts and opinions on this product.
