Here’s my weekly posts to catch you up.

Week 15 & 16
Week 17
Loving Some interesting new YouTube I found recently (while sick):
All very, very different, but good in their own way…
Meg Hughes – college girl in Ireland
Peter Santenello – videos about a world the media fails to capture
Tay BeepBoop – eccentric designer and DIYer
Happy I’m happy to feeling a little better.
Excited Not sure I’m excited about anything right now.
Reminiscing about our trip to the dessert. I’ll share about it eventually. 🙂
Social I got to catch up a little bit with a couple friends at the bridal shower I went to earlier in April.
Work Memories Our building manager retired.
Lesson Learned Man, I have learned so much. Too much about how people are just out for themselves. They say they love you and that you’re friends, but in my book, friends take into consideration what their friends want. I’ll talk more about this when I write about what happened with my church.
Current Project Still lots of work to do with several rooms in the house.
Drew started a new job. So proud of him!
Alex is now working at 3 local restaurants in Auburn!
Rob has had his world flipped upside down with what’s happened with our church.
Most remembered Our trip (and the church thing unfortunately)
Wearing We’re still in that transition period where it can be in the 40’s in the morning and be in the 70s and 80s by afternoon, so lots of layers.
This Weekend Let’s see this weekend, LSU comes here to play Auburn in baseball. I might go to one of those games and other than that, just doing stuff around the house. Visiting a new (to us) church.
Looking Forward to Next Month In May, meh…not sure. Nothing too exciting. I guess we’re going to a wedding in Baton Rouge for a cousin’s son who’s getting married.
FOOD
Eating On our trip to the desert, I tried to stick with my diet, but also didn’t want to totally deprive myself. My sugar addiction has somewhat returned and its a beast! Working to get that back under control.
Favorite This steak at Mon Ami Gabi was delish!
ENTERTAINMENT
Click TV below to see what I’ve been watching and listening to lately.
Sounds like quite a month! That steak looks amazing! Can’t wait to hear about your trip!
Hope things get worked out for you and your church. We became very disillusioned with our church about 15 years ago and wound up leaving the church all together. We have a new church home and I am happier but I am not sure PC is. My sister’s attends a Methodist church and I know the Methodist churches are experiencing a lot of upheaval and change right now. Seems the whole world is upside down.
That steak looks divine!! Wish I could taste it through my laptop monitor!
The photo you shared from your trip out west looks like something I would see right here in El Paso where I live. I love the ruggedness of our terrain, the mountains, the cactus. This area of our country is very unique.
