Earlier this year my family and I were in the Gulf Shores area for Alex’s soccer tournament. When they lost the semifinals game that left us with much of Sunday to find something to do. We ate lunch at Rafter’s, stopped at beach for a quick dip, and then headed over to the Mobile Bay Ferry.

Ferries go back and forth all day long from about 8am to 8pm every 1 and half to 2 hours. Check specific departure times here.

Can I get out of my car during the ride?
