    Week 43 & 44: 2025

    Life has been moving fast lately, and blogging honestly slipped my mind. Still, I don’t want to fall too far behind on sharing updates. My last biweekly post covered Weeks 39–40, and I’m skipping Weeks 41 & 42 since those were spent on our cruise. So today, I’m picking back up with Weeks 43 & 44, spanning October 20 through November 2.

    “A Little Cutie Pie is on the Way!” Baby Shower

    Back in November, I planned and organized a baby shower for Caitlyn. The theme was “A Little Cutie Pie is on the way!” I have never thrown a baby shower and it was so much fun planning and creating all the things. It was a lot of work, but I know she loved it so much, so it was definitely worth it. I have linked to as many items we used at the bottom of the post. If there’s anything I left off, feel free to comment below. Here’s what the invitation looked like. I designed them on Canva. I…

    2024:: November 25-December 1

    Last Tuesday after work, we headed towards Texas, planning to spend the night in Shreveport to break up the trip since its a 12 hour drive. We ended up having a delay when Google Maps told us to take a detour near Selma. We went over some railroad tracks and ended up going over a pot hole that gave us a flat tire. There was another car that had pulled over who had also gotten a flat tire. Long story short, God paved the way for us to get our tire switched to the spare and got a new tire…

    2024:: November 4-10

    + I’m going to share about Caitlyn’s baby shower soon, but late last week, I made some Gluten Free mini-pies for that. + Saturday night, we brought the crib/mini crib and mattress over to Drew and Caitlyn’s house and they put the mini-crib together. + Sunday, we had the great opportunity to go with Drew & Caitlyn to a 4d Ultrasound. It was so sweet and I was moved to tears. Even though we didn’t get to see her face because she was turned and had her legs and hands in front of her face. + Tuesday was voting day…

    Monthly Digest – November 2022

    November was actually a long month for me, but then again I still can’t believe it’s almost December. It’s the Christmas season and I’m just not sure I’m ready for that. LIFE Happenings We had our yearly crawl space inspection and its a good thing because the pipe coming from our kitchen sink had a huge hole in it. Perhaps professionals, who may know the cost to jet sewer line, can fix that. This meant that everything from the sink including all the stuff from the disposal was emptying out into the crawl space. Yuck! Luckily we were able to…
