Dynamics at work have changed a bit, because the addition that has been under construction since December 2015 is now finished and open. This $35 million addition adds 26 state of the art classrooms, 2 large lecture halls, study rooms, and open study spaces that span 69,000 square feet in 3 stories. This mecca is called Mell Classroom Building @ RBD Library. Now that the university is closed for Christmas break, construction on RBD to add the new Mell Commons Building will begin over the holidays. The staff of the library took a picture today infront of our building since it will never look like this again. Photo above by Jayson Hill – AUL libraries (Flickr) I also got some shots to remember what it looked like from different angles. See all the pics I took here. To see progress on the new building see this link: Mell Commons

I didn’t take a lot of pics, because I was busy working it. Here’s a collage with a couple shots. Friday evening I went to see Drew march at the football game. I went by myself because…

Warm Fuzzies A tall, tough looking guy walks up to the desk with a pile of big books. He places them on the desk and as he does so I see the forehead, eyes, and nose of a little girl as she peeks over the top of the desk trying to see. The little girl looks up to her daddy and whispers something. He looks down admiringly and tell his daughter that they have to check the books out before they can take them home. There’s something so endearing about seeing a father bringing his children, especially his little girl,…
