    Alex texted me on Thursday to tell me he needed to get a coat and shirt to wear to Homecoming. Wait, what? This was TWO days before the homecoming dance! Nothing like waiting to the last minute. So Friday we went out shopping and I was so worried with the supply chain issues and stores not being stocked very well, that we would have a hard time finding anything that fit. But thank goodness Belk came through and we got coat, shirt, tie, and pants. Shoe Department had the shoes he wanted and all is good! Saturday afternoon we headed…

    Homecoming 2015

    This past weekend was Homecoming. It was just Drew and me and home. Drew got dressed and we went over to the Baird’s house for pictures and then dinner. I prepared Buffalo Chicken Meatballs for an appetizer that I served with ranch, celery, and carrots. I’ll be posting that recipe soon. Anyway, I got lots of great pictures.     How did Drew ask Caitlyn to homecoming? Drew and his beautiful date, Caitlyn, both looked amazing for Homecoming 2014 a few weeks ago. We met up with another couple that they were going to homecoming with for pictures at a hidden spot on campus that not too many people know about called Memorial Gardens.

    He Didn’t Procrastinate… {Homecoming}

    Yes, there was a time when my teenage son did not procrastinate. School started and some of my friends who have kids in high school, reminded me that homecoming this year is early. They mentioned that they were urging their sons to figure out who they were going to ask and go ahead and git er done (as we say in the South.)
