If you missed Day 1 or Day 2 or Day 3

Day 4 which happened to be the 4th of July was another great day in the mountains. We started the day by driving over to McCaysville, GA, which is a little town on the Georgia/Tennessee line. It’s bordered by Copperhill, TN. McCaysville is so cute, just a lovely little town with cute shops and eateries.

So bummed I didn’t get to try the fried Oreos. They weren’t quite open yet.

Next we drove over to the Ocoee Whitewater Center, which is the Slalom site of the 1996 Olympics. On the way there, I decided to try some moving shots. We were moving the train was not.

We walked around a bit and then decided to go back to the cabin to figure out our plans for the rest of the day. We ended up going to the Blue Ridge City pool. This picture cracks me up! He’s not a ham or anything.

For dinner we grilled some yummy steaks, which was accompanied by roasted potatoes, baked beans, and for dessert we made cinnamon apples that we got from Mercier Orchard.

After dinner we enjoyed some time in the hot tub, a move (Despicable Me), and a little relaxation before our drive home on Tuesday.
