Family Friday
A couple weeks ago, my heart cringed with angst as I took pictures of this handsome young man and his beautiful girlfriend before releasing them into the jaws of the Junior/Senior right of passage called PROM. In the back of my mind, I feel like it was just a couple years ago that was me going to prom.
Anyway, the plan for Drew and Caitlyn was to meet over at a friends house with their group for dinner before going over the Auburn Hotel and Conference Center for the main event. I offered to meet up with them earlier to get some pictures of just Drew and his girlfriend. She’s a senior and really wanted some good, not so rushed pics of her and my handsome offspring.
So here are a few of the pics we took at Town Creek Park before going over to meet up with the group.
Then we all drove over to meet up with the group for more pictures, before leaving them so they could enjoy their dinner and then head off to Prom. It worked out nicely as couple was designated to bring a dish and the hosting parents cooked the main entré which was steaks.
Curfew for everyone was 2:30 a.m. and I’m happy to report that Drew and his friend, who was spending the night with us, arrived home a few minutes early safe and sound.
