Memories of the Month {1.2015}

By | January 31, 2015

Memories of the Month - Here's a great idea for wrapping up the month with a set of questions to remember how your last month with. I love going back and reading through what happened throughout the years.

I was happy about: going to Gatlinburg with the Boy Scouts.

I was sad about: hurting my back in Gatlinburg.

Books I read were: Bread and Wine: A Love Letter to Life Around the Table with Recipes by Shauna Niequist.

I didn’t watch any movies this month.

TV Shows I watched were:
CSI
NCIS
NCIS LA
NCIS NO
The Mentalist
Hawaii 50
random old game shows
The Bachelor
The Pioneer Woman
Revenge (Season 4 on Hulu)
Hart of Dixie (Netflix)
Parenthood (Season 1 Neftlix)
The Good Wife (Season 1 Neftlix)

My favorite song this month was: Something in the Water by Carrie Underwood.

What I remember about work was: how hard it is to get back into the swing of things.

A lesson I learned this month was: sleeping on your stomach is really bad for your back.

A friend and I: had lunch with our hubby’s at Mugshots.

My favorite pic that I took was: Bridge at Bahia Honda
I have 1,000’s of pics I’m still going through from our epic Florida trip, which I hope to start sharing with you during my Travel Tuesday posts. Here’s onea that didn’t turn out exactly how I intended, but boy do I love it anyway!

The favorite thing I cooked was: Tator Tot Hamburger Pie and Ravioli Soup

Drew: turned 17!

Alex: started calling a couple of his friends as they play Mindcraft together on the same server so they can talk through it. *weird*

Rob: worked another Emmaus walk. He’s so committed.

The thing I’ll remember most from this month was: hurting my back in Gatlinburg.

What is a memory you’ll have of the first month of 2015?

Thanks! It’s a good way to wrap the month up and remember all the cool things you accomplished.

I created it myself a couple years ago. At the end of this month, I’m thinking about doing a link-up and allow others to take this idea and so we can all share our memories of the month.
