This Memorial Day weekend was fun. We always appreciate the invitation from our good friends to camp out at their lake house and enjoy the sun. This year felt a little different for a couple reasons. We cooked most meals up at the house because we didn’t have all the normal gear that we borrow from the Cubscout Pack. It was also different because Drew’s friend Joe wasn’t able to get back from school, which we expected.
These girls are always fun to watch while their tubing
Got some great pics of these two on the tube.
Meredith (16) got to drive the boat at one point when Alex and Drew were tubing.
Drew looking like a pro on the water.
These 2 tube together because they both don’t want to be flipped off.
Alex’s first time trying to ski.
Here’s some other random pics from the weekend.
Our tradition of eating at Niffer’s on the Lake. This was the “kid” table.
Another reason this year was different was that we left on Sunday instead of Monday like usual. We were expecting bad weather, so we made the decision to pack up on Sunday and stay until we were ready to leave or until the weather got bad.
We had a great time at the lake as usual, but it was nice waking up in our own bed Monday morning.
Here’s a quick video with a few clips from the weekend:
