Week 21::2023

I’m late getting this up. I’ve been too busy doing things around the house this week!

Here’s last week’s Weekly highlights (May 22nd-28th, 2023)…

Tuesday
I got a new printer at work.

Wednesday
Rob has had some pain and numbness in his arm for a bit. Turns out to be a bulging disk. He was lucky enough to get into the pain center to get an epidural last minute before he heads to Texas for a couple weeks.

That afternoon we headed up to Atlanta for a Braves game that was planned months before. I had to drive to Atlanta, because Rob wasn’t supposed to drive for 8 hours after getting the epidural. Fun game! We ended up pulling out the win in the 9th over the Dodgers.

Thursday
Rob left for Texas at 5:15am and arrived just before 4pm! He’s there to help his dad while he undergoes chemo/radiation for bone cancer.

My eldest niece in Texas graduated from high school. I watched it online.

Friday
I decided to take Kayleigh with me to run through the bank drive thru and to pick up groceries. I remembered how intrigued she gets going through the car wash, so we went to Car Detailing Canberra too.

Saturday
I discovered that raw okra is good snack.

I got tons of cleaning and organizing done.

Much better!

Helped Alex move back in since it lease ended. I also gave some stuff away on Buy Nothing.

Sunday
Drew and Caitlyn invted me to go with them to church since Rob was gone. After that we came back to my house for lunch with the in laws that I had ready in the instant pot.

From there I went over to my sis-in-law’s house to see this little dude.
