The United States is a huge and diverse place with beautiful locations to visit. Whether you want time in a big city or a nature-rich vacation, you can find everything you could wish for in the U.S. I find I like vacations with a mixture of both! I can’t wait to share about my recent trip to San Francisco, where we got the big city feel, but also enjoyed some time on the California coast driving on highway 1.
First, it is important to consider who you are going with. You should all have a conversation about what kind of vacations you like and what you don’t mind doing while you are away. The last thing you want to do is take your whole family to a city when they want to spend it on the beach. Once you have an idea of everyone’s preferences and needs, you can make a list of ideas. You should also consider the budget that you have to spend and the climate of different places to visit.

Other great coastlines to visit in the U.S. including Florida, Miami, California, and Long Beach.
Adventure
Adventure vacations are great for those who like fun and adrenaline-pumping activities to try. Many locations in the U.S. will enable you to jump in lakes, go skydiving, ride through the mountains, zipline through the forest, ski down the slopes, and much more. Whether you are new to adventure or you already have a taste for it, you should try visiting places like Montana, Arizona, Sedona, Boise, and other similar places that are well-known for fun.
