Earlier this year my family and I were in the Gulf Shores area for Alex’s soccer tournament. When they lost the semifinals game that left us with much of Sunday to find something to do. We ate lunch at Rafter’s, stopped at beach for a quick dip, and then headed over to the Mobile Bay Ferry.

Yes, just be sure to follow the rules.
We always enjoy taking the Mobile Bay Ferry for lots of reasons:
1. Less driving time, which cuts down on stress during travels.
2. Change of scenery; beautiful blue waters, pelicans, seagulls, fish, and maybe even a dolphin if you’re lucky.
3. Enjoy 40 minutes of relaxation
4. Saves on gas!
5. Great learning experience for the kids.
This is yet another great part of being on Alabama’s Gulf Coast. Add this to your list of things to do next time your vacationing there.
