I’ve dedicated several posts the last few weeks to making goals for the New Year. I thought it would be great for my kids to reflect and set a few goals as well. It’s important for kids to know what goals are and how to think through everything and plan. I also think it’s important for kids to think about the past and reflect on memories. A few weeks ago, we were traveling somewhere and Alex was “playing a game” with Drew, where he would hide the folded-up straw wrapper and Drew would have to guess where it was. Alex had a brilliant place to put it. See the pic below. I wasn’t aware of what was going on in the back seat, but at some point, I turned around and realized Alex didn’t have his seat belt on. Yesterday afternoon Drew asked me to get on Facebook since I was at work and he was at home because he had something to talk to to me about.
